I was so happy t have found this book! I was looking for a specific recipe of delicious cinnamon rolls (large squares) that I enjoyed as a child from the elementary school I went to in Los Angeles back in the 1960's. I had been looking for years! Thank-You! I can now enjoy my own at home and reminisce about my childhood!
I love this book!!!! The recipes are awesome! So many great recipes from restaurants I used to patronize in years past. Now it is so good to have their recipes even if many of those restaurants are not still around. This is a very nostalgic book and the recipes are, for the most part, quite easy (and elegant)!!!!!
For years I followed Rose Dosti's Culinary SOS article in the LA Times. I however, lived in Tacoma. We moved to southern California four years ago and I internet searched all her archived articles available from the LA Times. I found all her books on Amazon and just had to have them. If I had a way to meet this woman I would have, but as I understand, she sadly passed away. This is only one of her Culinary SOS books. I recommend them all and don't hesitate to do so. You won't be disappointed.

Book was recommended to me by a friend and after browsing through the recipes from favorite restaurants, it was a must-have addition to my cook books library.
Have suggested the book to other friends as I'm pleased with the collection of recipes.
I love this book so much, I give it to my family & friends as gifts !!!
The SOS column was always my favorite in the LA Times and now I have the best recipes in one book. Love it!
I like the recipes, but agree with a previous reviewer that the print is not an easy-on-the-eyes color. If you have trouble with that, you may not find reading it as pleasant as you would have otherwise.
